A name need not disappear while its position is being resolved. This public register preserves 35 documented or firsthand names and named sections. It is not a claim of that many new verified breaks. Exact takeoffs, duplicates and local operating conditions remain under review. No unlocated record is given a fake map pin or a made-up forecast.
The larger 129-record owner research register includes directory leads, correction questions and historical records; those are retained for review rather than promoted indiscriminately.

Traps Peter’s firsthand report: Traps is a fast, hollow, advanced break that can get very powerful and shallow at low tide. It loves south or direct-west swell, also pulls in norths, and can be amazing on combo swells. Core beta-test spot.
Location description: Peter places Traps about ¼ mile south of Pipes, before Barnies and Turtles. Exact takeoff awaits his sketch.
Reported wave: Left and right. The LEFT is hollow: reported swells over 8 ft close it out unless high tide; a 10 ft swell shuts it down even then. The RIGHT is very long, mushy through the middle, and can develop a long inside racetrack section.
