Include the page or spot, your browser/device, roughly when it happened, and what you expected to see. A screenshot of the error is useful after you remove personal information.

Names, pins & descriptions
Include the spot name, nearby region, the detail to correct and how you know. Distinguish firsthand observation from something you read. Say whether the note can be quoted and how you would like attribution.

Privacy & account requests
For account access, correction or deletion, write from your registered email when possible. We may need to verify control of an account before disclosing or deleting its information. Never send a password, sign-in code, session token or database backup.

Tell us which task or control is difficult, and the device or assistive technology involved. The HTML Coast Guide offers another way into the catalogue, but it is not a promise that every feature is accessible to everyone yet.

Do not send API keys, payment information, private property access codes, or sensitive personal information that isn’t needed for the request. Avoid publicly sharing screenshots containing an email, precise personal location or private field notes.
Messages are handled as correspondence, not published automatically. Sending a correction does not automatically put it on the map. See how corrections are reviewed and how contact information is handled.
