This model reports only zeros across its cached partition forecast while another model reports swell. This is not confirmation of flat surf. Check the other source or try refreshing later.
Each model supplies its own partitions. Missing components remain unavailable; another model’s primary swell is not automatically the same wave system.

Model spread is not a confidence interval. Tide and wind are context, not new corrections to surf size. Larger sets and changing hazards remain possible.

South of Pipes, before Barnies and Turtles. The left is hollow. A local contributor reports that swells over 8 ft close it out unless higher tide; a 10 ft swell shuts it down even then. The right is very long and mushy through the middle, with a possible fast takeoff and inside section. This forecast uses a provisional template from Pipes; it is not a calibrated model of this takeoff. Source note: a local contributor — firsthand names, relative locations and descriptions, 20 September 2026. Exact takeoff not placed. Regional assignment is a draft, not a geolocation.
Before paddling out: The reported 8/10 ft swell measurement basis, periods and numeric tide levels are firsthand observations, not active alert thresholds. Do not transfer the left’s closure limits to the right or infer safe high-tide conditions.
Access requires owner verification; no private-property permission inferred Owner-placed takeoff; not a survey
Firsthand contribution: Peter Ochabski. Descriptions remain personal observations, not surveyed measurements or validated forecast coefficients.

Swell, wind and water level
Reported swell reference: Favors direct west and south; also north and combo swells. Reported tide guidance: Can become very shallow at low tide. Compare each swell’s direction and period with the actual breaking line. These qualitative descriptions are not calibrated height multipliers or fixed tide cutoffs.
What to refine on your next check
Record the precise section, time, swell components, tide trend and whether the wave connected. Compare those observations with the current catalogue description.
