A standout for left hunters and bathymetry nerds. The marker is broad because the reef is offshore and the exact peak shifts.

Early UCSB surfers used the fraternity-derived Sig Ep name. The productive sand/bedrock mix changed after the 1964 storm, so the useful peak still moves with sand and tide.
